Whenever I get to the cave, the character says "I should come back later" and when I leave the character never spawns , giving me a soft lock. I'm assuming you go into the cave since I've looked around and it's the only place to the west.
For reference I'm playing on an original Gameboy colour. Btw I love the spritework

Wow, this looks great. I like the Dark & Adult Theme. Couldn´t play for long, but I will play it later on my handheld!
