Bonehunter - Prototype
In a world ravaged by chaos and decay, one creature rises from the ruins to hunt for truth and vengeance. You are Bonehunter, a half-man, half-bear cyborg created in a secret laboratory and left for dead in the apocalyptic wasteland. Awakened in the lair of the enigmatic Wastelander, you embark on a quest through deadly swamps, desolate cities, and treacherous dungeons to uncover your origins and the dark forces that threaten humanity’s final days.

This project has been sitting dormant on my hard drive for a couple of years. Back in June 2021, I took a break from developing it while waiting for GB Studio to be updated with the features I needed. GB Studio was updated but I never got around continuing the project, because it seems like it would have been easier to start from scratch instead of adapting the project to work on the updated version. Now, as I'm studying game design, I've realized there are many things I would approach differently. I’ve decided to fix a few bugs, wrap up this version, and use it as the foundation for a new project in the future.
